Professor Wolfgang Polonik will be holding an information session about the Statistcs Research Training Group (RTG).  The RTG is a two quarter program (winter and spring) where students work in small groups on a research project supervised by faculty and graduate student mentors. This program allows undergraduates to learn techniques for approaching scientific problems from a statistical point of view.  It also gives students exposure to statistical topics that are not addressed in standard undergraduate classroom settings.

Professor Polonik will go over the application process and specifics about the program at this event.  We strongly encourage students from all class levels to attend this event.  Especially if you have graduate school in mind for the future, we strongly encourage you to start thinking about research as soon as you can.  You can view this year's projects on the RTG webpage
